Hilarious stories, brutal truth.
I'm not a director or vice president (don't think I'll ever get there to be honest) so perhaps my level of stress isn't as high, but it certainly busts the myths about super moms who are also super bosses in a large MNC.
I used to wonder how the super women in my company do it but #thetruthis we are all similar.
We recognise we are not perfect, but we try our best anyway.

Just last night, the hubs asked me a rhetorical question:
Do I like working, or do I prefer staying at home?
That was after I spent the entire day at home with Clarissa and not checking emails at all after sending an out of office notification.
I said, well I like both. We need the money so I have to work? And my work's quite fun.. Sometimes.
He asked, what if money isn't a problem?
Well.. money cannot be taken out of the equation? 😅
#thetruthis we all need some kind of balance and moderation in all things.
So yes I need to work as much as I need to spend quality time with my family.
That's the "balance" I need and I think it's different for different people.
Some days, like today, I feel crazy because I have to leave office at 515pm, go to the gym, take a call in the car while the hubs drives us home, have dinner, goof around with the little boss, take another call at 10pm and kiss our girl goodnight while still in the middle of the call.
Some days, like today, I wonder if I'm doing enough, or not enough, if it's worth it, or not worth it.
I read the blog entry written by the dad of the most famous boy on dayre (I'm a fan! 😁), sharing his appreciation for his wife and the things she has done to raise their son, and I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
How nice, for the wife to feel proud of their son for doing well in school, and for the husband to feel proud of his wife for bringing up their son so well.
It makes me wonder if we would able to raise Clarissa well, to be kind, loving and patient while being confident, intelligent and brave.
Parenting is hard work, whether we work full time or stay at home full time.
We all just do our best, don't we?
