GVA Day 1

On Skype – She leaned forward to give me a kiss with her forehead. 😁

I'm utterly confused and zonked out by the time difference and some 16 hours' flight including a mad rush to transit.

Dinner was supper, breakfast was lunch.

I managed to fall asleep but not very comfortably because my neck and back would get "stuck" in one position and it was difficult to move. πŸ˜‚

I think I probably slept for 3 hours and woke up at 6am Singapore time?

The flight was ok, except that it was really really cold and occasionally there were kids screaming and parents shouting:

Do not be nauuughtay!

I'm loving the British accent. It makes everything sound betta.

Even the captains' announcements were cool.

Arriving into Heathrow, the captain said that the temperature in London was 10 degree Celsius, which was "reasonable".

And in Geneva, the temperature was 5 degree Celsius, which was "a bit chilly".

And then I made a mad dash for the connecting flight to Geneva.. and finally got to the hotel by 10am.

The Geneva immigration is so efficient!

It's only 210pm now and I'm nursing a massive headache.

Tonnes of work to do before the meetings start tomorrow but my brain is swimming in confusion and lack of sleep.

Oops, overslept

So I ordered a very expensive chicken soup (room service is very expensive over here), went down to the pharmacy to buy very expensive paracetamol, Skyped again to say good night to the small one who simply waved and then walked away πŸ˜‚ and then Skyped with the big one after the small one fell asleep.

And then I took a nap.

Set the alarm clock for an hour but woke up 2.5 hours later. 😣

It's 2042 now in Geneva, 0242 in Singapore.

Should I have dinner / supper? πŸ˜‚
