#mamarazzi
That's her looking at me and saying to her Daddy, "Mama!", and Daddy laughing and saying, "#Mamarazzi!" πŸ˜…

She was so excited about swimming she didn't want to take her nap without her Daddy with her in the same room.

She kept tossing and turning, while pointing at her room door and saying, "Baba?"
And then she got out of her room to look for her Baba, who was watching NBA in the living room.

So Baba had to join her in her room in order to assure her that he would not go swimming while she took her nap. πŸ˜…

She slept for less than an hour and woke up looking for Baba.

I love how she associates swimming with Daddy and how much she enjoys it. 😁

Words

It feels like Clarissa has stumbled upon a chest, opened it up, and out came words. 😁

Am going to start this hashtag for my own record. #thingsclarissasays

Today, on our way home from swimming, she pointed at my bag and said:

πŸ”ΉBahg Bahg

Took my keys out of the bag and said:

πŸ”ΉKeees

(Me to the hubs: "Did you hear that? She said keys! She said keys!"
Hubs looked half bored and half amused, "Yah I heard." πŸ˜’πŸ˜‚)

When Daddy said to her, "Clarissa, later when we get home, you have to drink milk and then take a nap ok?"

Her response was:
πŸ”ΉHuh?

Complete with a puzzled, Daddy-I-don't-know-what-you-are-talking-about look and hand sign.

Well, we KNOW she understood him perfectly.. so, well-played, Clarissa, well-played. πŸ˜‚

Last night she ransacked my dressing table, took my leave-on treatment, passed it to her Daddy and said:
πŸ”Ή Shie shie (Xie Xie, as in thank you in Chinese)

This morning she pointed at our door and said:
πŸ”Ή Oh-pe (Open)

She also kept saying:
πŸ”Ή Bye! BYE! to my sis who was rushing to go for class while I was on the phone with my mom, who called to check if my sis left my place already.

Erm I told my mom yes, but my daughter was saying bye bye so enthusiastically in the background my mom asked me who she was talking to. πŸ˜‚

I love this talking phase, especially when she 璎璎忡 lol. I don't have a good translation for this, but it sounds like she's nagging.

She spilled some milk on our bed very early this morning so I told her off, and went out of the room to get wipes to clean up.

She babbled an entire string of her 璎璎忡 to her Daddy and the hubs told me he felt like she was scolding him for the mess she made. πŸ˜…

But she understood her mistake and looked quite remorseful when I returned, and let me open the bottle cap instead (the milk spilt because she was adamant on opening the cap on her own and refused to let me help her).

She's also able to string words together, like:
πŸ”ΉMama, bao bao! (Mummy, carry!)
πŸ”ΉMama, seet dao! (Mummy, sit down!)
πŸ”Ή Mama, meh meh! (Mummy, make milk!)

She'd also try to tell us what songs she wants us to sing.
The tune's almost always unrecognisable but we'd guess from key words or gestures. 😁

Anything it takes to make her drink more water. πŸ˜‚

Just as I was taking this picture, she decided to do a bottoms-up and had water spilled all over her face, clothes and the floor.

Oh, she can now say "Cher!" (For cheers) instead of "Kar". πŸ˜‚

Anyway she hasn't gone to school since last Wednesday. She has a running nose and we thought it'd be better to keep her away from school, which recently had a few cases of HFMD and stomach flu.

Despite not going to school, she was just as sticky and bossy. πŸ˜…

I had to maintain a proximity of no further than 10 centimetres from her, otherwise.. cue meltdowns.

If I attempted to stand up to walk to my seat, she'd immediately follow, grab my hand, lead me back to where she was sitting and point at the spot where I should be sitting.

If I told her I had to use the toilet, she'd grab my hand, lead me to the toilet and GUIDE me through the toilet door.
"Nah!" She'd say.

Erm thanks for showing me where the toilet is. πŸ˜‚

Luckily, she's cute.
I might have lost the plot otherwise. πŸ˜‚

Jokes aside, I've been feeling more than a little frazzled. Partly due to exhaustion, partly due to stress.

Glad the hubs cancelled basketball to come home earlier on Wednesday.

Glad I made it to gym on Thursday – even that took effort because it wasn't easy leaving at 515pm.
Had to do that so I would still be on time to meet the hubs to drive home together.

Flying off tomorrow for a business trip. Back on Friday, or technically speaking, Saturday because I'm landing past midnight.

In Singapore for a week, and then I'd fly out again on a Saturday night, red eye, and take another red eye flight back to Singapore on Wednesday.

So June's going to be crazy and so would July be, as it'd be the hubs' turn to be out, for reservist. πŸ’ͺ

I hope it all works out!
Just thinking about it makes me feel kinda stressed up and kinda sad. πŸ˜‚
