Good morning!
There's a little lion in our room. π
Slept through from 10pm to 8am!
She sat up at 6am calling out "Baba!" And went back to sleep immediately after Daddy responded with a "Yes, I'm here."
Happy National Day!
Hahaha skeptical baby is skeptical.
Seated and ready for breakfast.
She was still in her pj's because we were running low on diapers and clothes. ππ
Anyway we were going to the pool after breakfast.
She thought the flag pole was a straw. ππ
"Wafs!" She said.
Wah I had time to take a breakfie.
Happy with her A-gurt.
Halfway through she announced, "Mama, feed!"
Oookay.
She saw the mascot walking around the restaurant and kept waving and saying "Hi! Oh! Hi!!"
Swimming!
So! Much! Water!
Obligatory famfie.
She looks like a big girl here.
Aiyah I always say she looks like a big girl.
We were at the pool for an hour.
Went back to our room, showered, packed up while the little one had her milk. She was so tired she couldn't hold up her bottle properly!
Obligatory famfie before checkout.
The little one refused to join us because she wanted to have the phone. π
Ran to stand in the corner of the room. π
I offered the phone to her and she was happy again. π
"Bye bye room!"
Said the little girl when we left the room.
1730
The little one and the hubs are still sleeping!
I slept for an hour or so and I'm still tired. Can't believe we have to go to work tomorrow.
Need another holiday to recover from a holiday. π
This one dozed off in the car on our way home.
We stopped by the newly (?) renovated Bedok hawker centre to get lunch. Carrot cake ftw!
When we got home, our helper presented Clarissa with a smaller version of the same duckie.
She'd gone on her day off yesterday while we were out (and really went shopping. Bought clothes, cap, makeup.. like she was already buying souvenirs because she bought an Iβ€SG tshirt).
For some reason, this girl started wailing and looking for her two original ducks. One was in her bedroom and one was in the living room (just came back from Sentosa).
She continued crying even after she found both her ducks, and pushed the smaller duck away.
The duck looks exactly the same, except the size! Still cute and looking like the ducks she loves.
I wonder what she was thinking.
I felt bad and tried to make her say thank you to her Yaya.
Maybe she was tired and thought her ducks have shrunk? #toddlerlogic
After she drank her milk, we left her in her room to doze off on her own.
She didn't protest!
We monitored her from the cctv and saw her lying down touching her toys. Whenever we went into her room to check on her, she'd immediately cover her face with one of her soft toys. π
I smell terrible twos. ππ
π¦: Clarissa, how many ducks do you have?
πΆ: One, too, tee!
#thingsclarissasays
πΆ: (Flips through the book, gently pushing my head towards the page) Mama, read!
Oookay.
