The situation this morning: Little miss cheeky and her caterpillar, who can run. 😜
Her rashes have cleared up a little. It was so bad yesterday.
See? What a fast moving caterpillar. 😅
Before playing with the caterpillar she was playing with her cars in her room, with her duck sitting beside her.
I overheard her saying to the duck:
It's not yours. This is Baby's!
😂😂😂
Bed time, but the little one was singing and chatting with Yaya instead. 😅
She's been doing this every night for the past few nights, and I have been stepping in to check on her.
The first night, I told her that everything and everyone is sleeping already. She listened on intently, but continued talking to me.
Until I said to her, "Oh Ah gong is coming!"
She immediately turned and closed her eyes. 😂
I continued using the same trick (sorry, dear FIL) but it was losing effectiveness.
So tonight, the hubs did the full works of trying to convince her that Ah gong was indeed coming to make her sleep.
He even went out to the living room to open the main door. 😂
But it backfired because instead of trying to sleep, the little one got so worried she asked me to carry her out of her cot. 😂😂
As she lay her head on my shoulder and hugged me tight, she said to me:
Mummy protect you.
😅😅😅
As usual, she's got me half amused and half amazed.
She might be cheeky but she knows the boundaries.. and she understands what "protect" means!
I told her I'd always protect her, and continued to carry her for a while before tucking her in bed. 😍😙
