Gift exchange with Yaya this morning.

We rehearsed but when it came to giving the present she suddenly became shy and placed the gift on the floor instead.

Doting Yaya got her a Peppa Pig school bag and a water bottle.

Because when Yaya asked her what she wants got Christmas, she said, "Water bottle, bag!"

Business as usual: Buying breakfast.

Though she led us to the playground instead.

Little miss chubby chubbs #ootd, blogger style.

Daddy thinks her pants (gift from her Gu-gu) looks like it's got paint on them so he styled her like a painter. 😂😂

Ah-ah stayed over last night so we got another babysitter today. 😁

I overheard the little boss making Ah-ah read the same storybook twice. 😂

As usual we went over to my in-laws' for lunch before heading home to take a family nap. 😄

And then it was time to party lol.

Ok not really a party but my family came over to have a simple dinner together.

Changed her into this cute little frilly dress my mom got for her, but we didn't have a chance to let her wear it.

I thought she'd reject it but once she put it on with the hairband completing the look, she transformed into a dainty little girl and even obliged to take a proper picture.

With a hint of cheekiness.

But more girly than usual.

It lasted about 20 minutes before she showed her true samseng self.

First she lowered the hairband deliberately as if it was a pair of spectacles and then she pushed it up just slightly so it sat on her forehead instead of above it, where erm people usually wear a hairband.

And then, this. 😒😂

Looking like a hard core pokemon expert.

Hahaha I love this one.

New babysitters. 😁😁

So we relaxed in a corner.

An hour later she asked me to change her out of the dress.

And she picked this set of clothes.

Went around handing out and receiving gifts.

Our hand made gift tags.

The little boss stuck all the stickers.

This is what I eventually bought for her.

Duck ducks get to eat. She did this on her own. 😁

Hehe Merry Christmas!

As we were wiping her down, she exclaimed, very happily, "Happy birthday to you!"

We laughed and explained to her that you get to receive presents on two occasions, birthdays and Christmas.. and today is Christmas Day.

She loves all her presents!

When the hubs tried to show her new bag to my family, she said, "Do not touch my bag!" 😂😁

And then she insisted on holding the egg and Peppa pig from my sis#4 while drinking her milk.

It took us a while to make her sleep because she was so happy she couldn't stop chatting and singing..

She eventually fell asleep with her new Peppa pig in one hand and her old Mama duck in the other.
