Oopsie!

Had to turn the clock back to write about last year. 😅

Was too tired to write properly last night.

We sat in bed watching "梦想的声音".

NYE dinner at one of our usual favourite restaurants.

This one very happily pretended to eat. 😅

New year morning.

Daddy and Clarissa play acting.

It was hilarious to watch.
I think she enjoys listening to Daddy talk in a different voice.

👶: Daddy talk, Daddy TALK!
👦: (Holds one of the Singas) Hello! What is your name?
👶: My name is Red Singa!
👦: Shall we play together?
👶: Want kick the diamond?

A few minutes later:
👶: Daddy hold Singa, Daddy talk, Daddy TALK!
👦: What do you want me to say!!

My wedding anniversary present for the hubs and myself.

One of my new year resolutions is to sleep better, besides making an effort to stay healthy.. and wearing more sensible shoes. 😅

Very expensive pillows, but there was a promotion going on, which worked out to be a 25% discount.

So each pillow costs around 22 cents a day, assuming we use it up to the 3 years' warranty period.

Better investment as compared to buying clothes or designer bags, which cost way more!

Someone adopted a pet duck today.

Everywhere she went, the duck followed.

She really wanted to swim but we told her she can't, because she still has a runny nose.

So she kept looking at the pool wistfully and sniffing her nose. 😂

Party time!

She liked the party cap enough to let us take a picture together, before ripping it off.

She suddenly wanted to be cradled like this.

Because she saw me carrying our friend's two month old baby.

She was playing happily on her own so I thought I'd try to carry the baby because she's so cute.

But the little boss saw me and got very angry.

For someone who is so shy and soft spoken outside of home, she must be feeling really upset to actually raise her voice and demand, "Mummy cannot carry the baby! Put down the baby!" 😳🙈😳

So our friend hurriedly took his baby back and my boss climbed up onto my lap and started trying to lie down.

It took me a minute to realise she was trying to imitate the baby omg.

We asked her, "What if you have a baby sister or brother, who's going to carry her or him?

She said, "Uncle carry." 😂

And then she asked her Daddy to carry her while she continued behaving like a baby.

Ichiran ramen, now in Singapore.

The hubs made us ramen for dinner tonight.. the instant noodles -like ones I bought from Tokyo.

Very legit!

Substituted the Japanese charsiew with siow-bak, the broth tasted good and didn't make me feel thirsty like most instant noodles do, and the noodles bounced! 😅😁

I tried to make the Japanese style runny eggs. The eggs turned out quite good but the peeling? #fail. 😂

Should have bought more!
