It's #soloparenting day today because the hubs is helping out at his friend's wedding.
Luckily I have our #superbabysitter with me so together we went to the nearby mall to walk around before grabbing lunch.
Looking at her happy face, you wouldn't be able to tell that she has been cranky since 630am.
She's still constipated and has already had one crying episode in the morning.
I tried to show her a cute video about potty training but aye she was quick to say no. π
Anyway she was forced to evacuate from the car because this boy around 6 years old came along and squeezed himself into the car beside her.
I told him off calmly but sternly, "Excuse me, I think you should at least ask her if she's done yet before climbing up?"
His parents were just beside him, trying to stop him but he wouldn't listen and continued squeezing.
I asked Clarissa if she was done with the car, she said no. But she was too intimidated to continue sitting there.
So we left.
And she walked into Toy'rus.
On her own.
It was like a playground to her.
All the toys and cars and Peppa.
Not too expensive for my wallet. We walked away with a Peppa pig surprise egg.
She's pretty sensible.
After she walked round and round the same two aisles (I suspect she has no sense of direction like me π), I told her we'll spend just another five minutes here.
Five minutes later we left the shop without any drama. π
Lunch time!
She finished almost everything I gave her but look at what she left behind.

She doesn't like to eat meat.
But I can't call her a vegetarian either because she doesn't like vegetables.
Her favourite food are like biscuits, noodles, waffles, carrots and corn.
Le sigh.
After she was done eating, she helped to wipe the table clean!
She even pushed away the plates to clean more thoroughly. π
We went to do some grocery shopping and then bought gongcha!
She fell asleep in the stroller while we were waiting for our tea.
When we got home, we strategized about whether i should carry her out of her stroller or let her continue sleeping in it.
Stroller: She might not sleep more than an hour in it.
Carry her out: She might continue sleeping more comfortably for the next two hours. But she might wake up and that's it.
Decision: I lowered the stroller backing (?) and let her continue sleeping in it. π
1445: She stirred and whined, and opened her eyes looking confused. I thought she was going to wake up already.
Afterall it's been a good 1.5-hour nap.
But she merely changed her position slightly, propped one leg up like the little samseng she is.. and went back to sleep.
I'm, erm, just lying down on the sofa watching her because my back is breaking. π
Aye she woke up after 20 minutes.
Mood: Cranky π
But #superbabysitter is entertaining her in the room now and I hear laughter. π
Having a dull headache now.
Probably the result of waking up at 430am and barely sleeping after that. π©
I think.. We have outdone ourselves today. πͺβ
She's getting better at this!
Lol the smug face after she climbed up.
She said, "Ah-ah, your turn!"
Both of them not focusing on me/my camera. π

The little boss is now fast asleep and I'm totally lying in bed now trying to watch the new Korean variety show Youn's kitchen while Dayre-ing.
My lower back is really screaming in pain now, after all the walking, carrying and squatting.
Squatting, well, because the constipation woes continue.
She made about 5 teary poop attempts, 2 of which yielded a bit of poop which I had to dig out for her. #tmi
But the rest only ended in tears and sweat for her, backache for me.
Still, it's not a very bad day considering she ate well at both lunch and dinner, and we managed to bring her out not once but twice in a day.
She asked to continue sitting in the high chair to wait for us to finish dinner and chit chat.
We had another #babysitter Da-yi tonight, and Ah-ah was mentioning to us how, nowadays whenever she calls out to Clarissa, she'll respond with a "Huuuuhh?" π
Obviously the little boss was listening in to our conversation and started re-enacting her "Huuuhh?" π
So I tried to tell her she should respond with a "Yes?" instead.
We went around the table demonstrating, and she only laughed mischievously.
π§: Clarissa?
πΆ: (Laughs) Hhhhhhuuuuuuhh??
π§: You should say "Yes?"
πΆ: No, it's huh! That's the way!
πππ
Wah that's the way leh.
