The hubs went out early in the morning for Grandma's 49th day rituals while the helper went on her day-off, so it was just me and the little boss at home for the first half of the day.
"Why only you and me, Mummy?" She asked. π
In fact when our helper told her she was going out, she made a surprised and concerned face and exclaimed dramatically:
Huh then no one is going to be in the kitchen?!

Hahaha kids really say the darnest things. Even she has observed how much our helper loves staying in the kitchen. π
We spent the morning together, mostly in bed doing all sorts of different things.
I guess she got a bit bored, but fortunately my mom dropped by at that juncture with lunch so there was something new to do. π
Made her Daddy play with her for a while after he got home and had his lunch + shower before she took her milk and nap.
Nap time for her and rest time for us now!
Family nap!
A glorious 3 hours for the hubs and bubs.
I slept for about an hour too.
Hahahaha not a very nice picture of our dinner.
With the hubs' hand and the bubs' foot. π
I ordered our all-time favorite Putien.
Birthday, must eat noodles.
Customized birthday card for the man.
Cupcakes from Plain Vanilla!
ι»ε₯ is when you take turns to blink while having your photo taken. π
Birthday present from the bubs.

I've kissed Daddy, sang the birthday song for him, now can I eat the cake already? π ππ€£
The biggest highlight for her is the ice cream.
I also ordered ice-cream from HΓ€agen-Dazs!
This is completely candid.
They look like they are having an ice-cream eating competition.
I think this is the first time in years we are celebrating his birthday at home.
π that I was able to do/plan everything while lying in bed. π π
Nonetheless, happy birthday!
Everything I want to say is in the card and the photos.
May the new year be a great one for you. π
