Hello, surface of bedside table. 😂

Forgot to take the "before" picture, but this took me an hour.

Back aching and feet swelling up now so I'm back in bed.

The little one fell off her bed at 4am this morning with a loud bang.

Cried and cried, and couldn't/wouldn't tell me where she hurt herself.

She went back to lie down in her bed with tears in her eyes and looked at me sadly.

So I asked her to sleep with me in my room.

It took her quite a while to fall back asleep but still she didn't say anything at all.

Woke up at 730am this morning, grumpy. 😂

Told the hubs about it and he said sorry, he must have forgotten to place the bolster at the other side of her bed.

He asked her about it after she got changed and was in a visibly better mood.

👦: Clarissa, you fell off the bed ah?

👶: Yah. I turn and turn and then I fall off the bed. And then suddenly I'm sleeping in Mummy's room.

😅😅😅
I guess she must have been too sleepy to remember that she walked to my room on her own.

Played with the little boss in bed after she came home from school.

👧: Clarissa, can I go to the toilet?

👶: No, you cannot go.

👧: But I need to pee.

👶: You pee here, in the bed.

👧: I cannot pee on the bed!

👶: You can! The bed is your toilet.

👧: No I really need to go. I'll be quick!

👶: (Smiles cheekily and leans forward to hug me) I hug you so tight you cannot go!

She noticed our photo since the bedside table has been cleaned up, and asked to look at it.

👶: Where is Clarissa huh? Why Clarissa not here?

👧: This was taken a long time ago. Clarissa wasn't born yet.

👶: Is Clarissa in Mummy's tummy?

👧: Eh not yet.

👶: Why Daddy cannot have baby in his tummy? Why only Mummy? Why huh?

👧: Because only girls can have babies in their tummies. Boys cannot.

👶: Why boys cannot have babies? Why huh?

👧: Because boys and girls have different bodies.

👶: Oh why huh?
