Happy Birthday Sis#3 and Sis#4! ππ
I guess Clarissa has officially reached the age where everyone's birthday is her birthday, because, look where she's sitting and what she's looking at.π π
She also blew out the candles. π€£
And immediately helped herself to the cookie before I could cut the cake.
These two K.O.ed in record time after the celebration.
I'm feeling better this morning and after having my family over.
Thank you for accommodating our schedule!
I started writing about yesterday in between pockets of quiet time (i.e when both Jiejie and Meimei were quiet).. Half written, all in draft.
Shall continue later.
Now, nap.
Managed to sleep for less than an hour, but the hubs and bubs slept for 2.5 hours which is great!
The baby barely slept. π©
Precious and rare 30 minutes of peace this morning.
Little Miss Allie is going through her 1st leap today.
I told the hubs about it but he half laughed and said he doesn't believe in these things.
Check all except the last point but she's been drinking every two hours!
I told the hubs this lasts for a week and he said, shit. π
And suddenly he's asking, so any tips on how to deal with it? π
"Mummy, can you take a picture of my alligator?"

So I did.
Quiet evening with the big lil boss while the small lil boss fussed in the other room.
We are beginning to see a little jealousy from Jiejie.
She'd ask us to put Meimei down on the bed and not to carry her all the time. π
Though it sounds like something I've told my helper too.
She's overall very protective and didn't want anyone else besides us to carry her Meimei.
I'm too big, Meimei is too small. So both of us cannot be carried.
She said this afternoon, when her Yi-yis asked if they could carry Meimei.
She said no.
They asked if they could carry her instead, she said no too and made the above conclusion. π
I realised during her recent interactions with her Yi-yis that she takes on this bossy persona and gives them instructions like don't talk, be quiet etc.
Spoke to her teacher recently and found out that it's actually the way they talk to the kids especially when they are being naughty.
It looks and sounds funny at first but I think it's not very nice.
I know she's not deliberately being rude because to her she's just playing "teacher" and she's treating it like pretend play.
I asked her about it this evening, why she talked to her Yi-yis like that and she said it's because she's the teacher. π π
I think I should start to constantly remind her to be herself, and speak normally even when she's playing?
