Missing Yakun. π
But it's been a while since I did this me time breakfast time so it's more for the "experience" rather than the coffee or food. ππ€£
My two bosses this morning.
The reason why I'm out this morning: Someone is going to her new class today.
N2! How time flies.
Thought I should give her some moral support (and ι‘ΊδΎΏhave coffee, but the hubs said it must be the other way around. π)
Her original class has been split up into 3.. and all her past and present best friends are in another class.
Tough luck.
But that's life. You have to make new friends.
Ok actually it's not luck, but a deliberate exercise by the teachers to post the kids to different classes to balance out the class dynamics.
In very nice terms described by her now former English teacher, a good mix of the "quiet" and "noisier" kids.
And Clarissa belongs to the "quiet" group lol.
Interestingly she's now in the same class as my primary and secondary school friends' son.
I was classmates with the dad from P2 to P6 and then Sec 1 and Sec 2, and classmates with the mum from Sec 1 to 2, on top of being in the same CCA.
And we all went to the same JC.
I think.
My memory is kinda fuzzy now. π
I used to hang out with the mum quite a bit, but we drifted apart for no reason other than the lack of proximity, as we went to different classes.
I was quite surprised when I first found out that their two boys go to the same school as Clarissa.
And she's now classmates with one of them!
Maybe they will become best friends. π
Picked her up from school today.
She walked out happily with her new English teacher.
A little reserved, though.
She would usually be running towards me excitedly.
I asked her how school went and if she liked her new teachers, she said yes.
She already knows her English teacher but does not remember the name of her Chinese teacher. π
She also told me the names of her old classmates who are now in the same class as her.
Her previous English teacher is now teaching in the classroom beside hers, and she dropped by to say hi to the kids before nap time.
"Mummy, you know? Teacher L wave to me and I wave back. And then I felt a bit sad. But I wipe my tears and then I sleep," she said to me as we walked towards the lift, her little hand in mine.
#thingsclarissasays
These are almost the exact words she used; I've tried to remember to the best of my ability.
She continues to amaze me with the things she says.
My little comic relief.
As the helper and I took turns to rock our εζ₯δ½ δ»δΉι½δΈζ³θ¦ Meimei, she did the same with mama duck in her arms, wrapped in a swaddle cloth. π
And when I wanted to record Meimei's feeding time, she came to me and said, "Mummy you help me write. Mama duck drink milk FOUR times."
Hahahaha.
So I got her to record it on her boogie board. π
