Went for a jog this morning and had a good stretch.

Partly inspired by the Commonwealth Games. πŸ˜‚

I was watching the Table tennis women’s team gold medal match last night with Allie and our helper. Allie was so intrigued she kept trying to follow the ball, I kid you not.

Overconfidently, I said to our helper, “Aiyah versus India, we sure win one.”

Hahahaha the China Singapore team lost to India 3-1. It wasn’t even close.

It’s time to be more consistent.

My twinning hubs and bubs1 are coming back tonight!

The hubs sent me a collage of them, father and daughter on their little adventure. 😍

We were texting each other late last night. He said the trip has been tiring, but he knows now, how sensible our little girl is, even though she does crazy things sometimes.

He said he would do it again with Allie! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰

Yesterday, I saw a family of 3, a couple with their daughter, who looked like she was 13 or 14 years old.

They were casually walking around the mall, and the Dad gave his daughter a quick hug and peck on her head.

“Did you grow taller again?” He smiled and asked her. The girl laughed and shrugged while her mum said, “Yes I think she did!”

My heart felt so full and warm watching them.

I hope this would be the kind of family we raise and bring our girls up in.

I’ve asked the hubs to write about his experience and he’s said he would!

So while the hubs and bubs1 were busy exploring Taiwan..

I took bubs2 out for a walk..

But unimpressed baby was unimpressed. πŸ˜‚

She had her own adventure though.

Oh hi, Mummy!

Yep she must have done some 2.5 flips to get here.

I found her checking out the bottom of the changing station.

Don’t worry Mummy, I’ve fixed it already!

On another occasion I found her lying on her back with both feet under the changing station and trying to lift it up the way people do leg-lifting in a gym. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

She must have used the lines she’d practised for a long time – “ζˆ‘θ¦εƒε†°ζ·‡ζ·‹γ€‚ηˆΈηˆΈοΌŒδ½ ε―δ»₯η»™ζˆ‘ε—?” – to get an ice-cream cone as big as her face.

She also asked me how to say “waffle” in Chinese.

Guess she got it too. πŸ˜†

Yep, Mummy. What I want, I will get.

The hubs said she has been good with her meals. Willing to try new things and wasn’t picky!

Meanwhile in Singapore..

I’ve confirmed that fruit puree is not Allie’s thing. πŸ˜‚

This was blueberry and apple puree. I tasted it before giving it to her; it’s sweet, not sour at all!

She refused to open her mouth after 5-6 spoonfuls. Her face was totally crumpled after just 10 minutes.

Oh Mummy, no more nonsense like this please.

My drumstick’s still the best!

(Oh yes this is how I might look like, with hair. πŸ˜…)

All ready for the airport, in her favorite t-shirt.

She specifically asked me to pack this, and kept asking her Daddy to let her put it on.

Exactly one year ago, we flew off to / touched down in Seoul.

She still looks like a little girl here!

This one’s got her “new” wardrobe too. T-shirt their Ah-ah bought for Jiejie!

I’ve put away her newborn and some 6-12M sized clothes, packed them up for my friend’s baby girl (EDD in June!) and unpacked her Jiejie’s 12-18M sized t-shirts and onesies for her.

Not being kiasu ok; her onesies are getting too snug, especially at the thighs. πŸ˜…

She’s made progress with those socks too. πŸ˜‚

She’s now able to kick the part at the ankles off before using her hands to pull the entire sock off (and put it into her mouth, thanks).

Oh hi.. Mummy!

Oh I was just stretching!

Not eating my sock!

Really lah!!
