Triggered by Sing! China Season 3 Episode 3 which my sister highly recommended me to watch.
I was blown away by how nice all the songs in that episode were, and how good the Singaporean contestant 刘嘉慧 was.
All four judges turned for her, but she picked Jay Chou to be her mentor and had to challenge a fellow contestant who was already in the team.
She won the challenge but was later challenged by another contestant, and she lost to a strong opponent.
After Clarissa went to bed, my plan was to watch the episode again to see which songs the contestants sang, but it turned out that the episode had been taken down from YouTube.
So I searched the song list and listened to the original singers.
And the lyrics, omo omo. 😭😭

I often wonder how some people can pen such beautiful and sad lyrics, and how some people can sing such beautiful and sad tunes.
The Chinese language is so amazing.
