And the skies are not cloudy all day

Last Saturday, at the playground.

Cheeky girl is cheeky.

These days, I can sit comfortably to watch her roam around the playground and she is equally happy playing on her own while cheekily obliging my requests to take photos.

Exaggeration is the key to nice photos. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†

Her other dimple and scooter.

A moodier Saturday, yesterday.

She fell off her scooter and broke the fall with her right elbow.

It didn’t look like a serious fall but when she stood up, the wound was bleeding, which was a first. Usually she’d get away with light scratches.

It took quite a while for her to calm down.

Showering hurt, so she cried through both her showers – in the morning and later in the evening.

She became left-handed yesterday. πŸ˜‚

Gave her a mini ice cream treat post lunch to cheer her up.

Notice the awkward right hand. πŸ˜…

Later in the afternoon, I bought a box of Frozen plasters for her and she chose Elsa to be stuck on her elbow after her evening shower.

She seemed slightly happier and amused when I said Elsa was going to protect her wound.

In a small voice she said, “Can you take a picture to show my Yiyis and tell them I fell down?”

So here is the photo and her arm which she had been holding at an awkward angle throughout the day. πŸ˜‚

Fooled around before dinner.

Daddy was out for a basketball match so we sent him this photo. 🀣

I also caved in and got Clarissa to work on the nature collage together while Allie had dinner.

I wanted the hubs to do it as a matter of principle, but I couldn’t stand myself nagging and reminding him to do it every other day.

So I guess it’s true when they say the one who cares more often loses the battle.

Good thing it wasn’t difficult to do because of this lazy concept I thought of. I did try to explain what “nature” means when we were sticking the flowers onto the letter C (for Clarissa πŸ˜†).

Nagging might have been more tiring. πŸ˜‚

The hubs came home and was happy to see the homework completed.

Win win.

(Though I hope I won’t be the only one doing the homework all the time.)

New monkey act.

But no, she’s not naughty.

Just cute when she’s shaking her head. πŸ˜†

I don’t think she really understands what it means because regardless of the question, her answer is always no.

“Have you eaten your dinner?” *shakes head*

“Is your food nice?” *shakes head*

“Are you cute?” *shakes head*

Tried on her mask before packing it into the bag for school.

Allie got scared and clung on to Yaya for her life. πŸ˜‚

Playtime after dinner.

Which was also time to break up snatch fights, one siren after another.

Allie would reach over and take one brick, Clarissa would protest with a loud siren and take it back from Allie, and Allie would turn to look at me and protest with another loud siren. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

To be fair, Clarissa did “share” her toys – she’d give Allie one of the bricks, or the box, or the car to play with and Allie would be satisfied momentarily, but she would get bored and want another part of the duplo.

And then this happened and they started playing together.

I took a few video clips of them doing this over and over again, and watched them over and over again.

They make me happy!

The situation this morning. πŸ˜†

She chilled in the room with Daddy while Jiejie and Mummy wrote Teachers’ Day cards.

Clarissa wrote the “Thank you” (and some random letters) and stuck the stickers while I wrote a short message for her teachers.

She’s turning 4 and already has 8 teachers who have taught her since she started going to school!

Don’t frown, it’s your turn next year!

Lunch before swimming!

I love how they can sit side by side now (Jiejie’s request), one eating and one disturbing the other. πŸ˜‚

At one point they both had a grain of rice on their face. Jiejie from eating and Meimei from Jiejie kissing her on her cheek while she was in the middle of eating. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

She’s so much better during class now!

I also learned my lesson and made milk for her to drink while getting changed.

She was so hangry the past two weeks she cried murder while we struggled to put her into her clothes.

Done!

Happily playing with the uncles and aunties around her while waiting for Jiejie.

One of them asked if she could share her biscuit with him. She frowned and shook her head! πŸ˜‚

No I did not tattoo her eyebrows. 😍

Super sleepy on our way home.

Gosh, it’s Monday tomorrow? 😭
