Great Ocean Road, Lorne Pier, Apollo Bay

Start of our road trip post grocery shopping.

Featuring the Little Girl and her Rice Cracker all over her face.

At Teddy’s Lookout.

The view was glorious; the photos, a little difficult. 🤣

Stopped by at the Lorne Pier Seaside Restaurant for a late lunch.

Allie had puree (and that was her post puree bored and unhappy face); Clarissa had Spaghetti Bolognese. She’s recently started eating pasta, after rejecting it for the longest time.

And I’m so happy because finally there’s someone I can share tomato-base pasta with lol.

We took a walk down the jetty post lunch and tried to take a famfie.. without much success.

Say..

Selfie!

The kids had fun dancing.

Loving all the shades of blue.

Long, scenic drive along the Great Ocean Road.

The girls were asleep around half of the journey and we were able to enjoy the view and a little conversation.

(Little did we know, until today, that it was actually a VERY good day for Allie, and how we should have appreciated it a little more. She cried so much and so long in the car today, even after we pulled over to feed her and change her.. and it wasn’t even dark yet. 😅😂)

Got to our super cool accommodation in Apollo Bay.

The kids, big ones and small ones, enjoyed it very much.

Exploring level 2.

Allie was all over the place doing all sorts of things.

Playground time while we waited for our dinner.

Someone really loves slides.

I love how every town has a playground.

She became a little crazy after a while. 😅

Got back, washed the kids up, made Allie sleep before coming outside for dinner.

Since there are two families on this trip, the hubs found accommodation with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Somehow one of the bedrooms is always on a different floor so I’d pick that one to sleep with Allie in.

Just so that she can sleep earlier and wouldn’t wake the entire house up when she’s up in the middle of the night.

Before this trip I have not co-slept with Allie. She’s always either in the sarong or the cot while I sleep on the bed beside her.

She’d snuggle up to me, sometimes snoring sometimes grunting, and in the mornings after she finishes her milk, we would cuddle up and snooze for another 30 minutes.

She’s like my little teddy bear, so warm and cuddly to sleep with.

My view the next morning.

Walking around like she owns the place.

Going around disturbing people.

Netflix was on while the adults packed up so Jiejie had her eyes glued to the TV while Meimei had her hands glued to Jiejie.

Tried the highly rated scallop pie before we started the day’s itinerary.

To be continued..
