10 years ago today, we said “I do”.
I love the photobook! It’s so sweet and thoughtful. He actually wrote a story with the photos from 10 years ago to the present. ๐ฅฐ
I also love our watches and the personalised message behind them, which he says is cheesy (and he couldn’t read the text clearly), but I stand by it. ๐

It’s hard to find couple watches that I like. I usually find the ladies’ version too dainty for me.
This pair is great. I like the marble-ish face on the ladies’ version and I like that I can borrow from the hubs when I feel like wearing the men’s version. But what thrills me the most, is that they come with two years’ warranty and lifetime free battery replacement. ๐
The food wasn’t as good as it used to be? So when the waitress came to ask if the food was ok, the hubs gave his honest feedback.
We got a 30% discount off the bill, which made it not as bad afterall. ๐
Next stop, karaoke. But we walked past these machines and saw these cute bunnies which we thought the girls would like.
One bunny led to another, and leftover tokens led to something else.
I can’t sing for nuts, but I love going to the karaoke to listen to people sing.
I made him sing the song he sang during our second march-in, Forever love.
He complained about being out of touch and going off-key, and choked on his own saliva at the first chorus (hahaha) but I think he sang alright!
Next next stop: Plaza Singapura, because my wedding anniversary gift request is to get my rings cleaned. ๐
The staff introduced us to their new diamond ring range, which made the hubs very tempted to buy a new and bigger one for me, but I said no because I only need a clean ring, not a new ring. ๐
We walked around for a bit, very much like our dating days where we’d walk around before catching a movie.
Since getting married, we stopped going shopping together (except for the occasional grocery shopping), because he says he hates shopping in fact. ๐คจ Which is fine, since I don’t have much time for shopping anyway and when I do, I actually enjoy shopping on my own ๐
Got myself a hair mist and a pair of spectacles that blocks blue light from computers and phone screens. ๐โ
Back to where we held our solemnization and wedding banquet.
I realised we don’t seem to have any soft copy of our wedding photos! Says very much about how long ago it has been. ๐
But Sis#4 actually has our photos in her Facebook album so the photo’s from her. ๐
We went for the high tea at the hotel.
Not very impressive, but it was fine since we were there for the venue and not so much the food.
They allowed us to order only one set of the high tea, so we shared! Eventually moved that block to the side though, so we could see each other’s faces. ๐
And then it was back to regular programming.
The girls were very excited to see the soft toys. Clarissa went straight for the unicorn. ๐
It has been a good day and a good 10 years.
It’s not easy and it’s not always bright and cheery, but I’m learning every day.
I hope we inspire each other to be better people, better partners and better parents.
My wish for him is to watch his health, especially his diet. And I’ll do the same for mine.
