Wishing ah gong a happy birthday. 😁

This was the NG take. πŸ˜‚

Initially I wanted to take a proper video with only her in the frame.. I taught her what to say before I started recording.

But she was uncooperative. πŸ˜‚

(Which was why I recorded the video in selfie mode instead, so she could see herself.)

Sent the good take to my FIL and I think it made his day.

He replied, "δΉ–δΉ–."

Hahaha he usually calls her "坏蛋" lol.

#flatlay Baby and her favorite toys this morning.

"One, two, three Singa!" She said. "One, two pig pig!"
(Oops George cropped off by Dayre square πŸ˜…)

I'm happy that she can count for real and isn't just reciting the numbers. 😁

"Singa drive the car! Boom!" She'd say.

She is very into driving these days. Last night on our way home, she made up a song/rap about her Baba driving. πŸ˜‚

Ready to attend the wedding!

Admiring our family photo taken at the photo booth.

Love this picture of them. So manja.

Drinking ginseng soup! πŸ˜‹
She enjoyed it a lot!

She was fairly well behaved at the wedding.

Entertained herself with the kid's cutlery and had more than half the porridge we brought.

She started eating after I pretended to feed my friend (and my friend had to pretend to eat lol).

When we thought she was about to get restless, the hubs would take her outside the ballroom for a walk.

We deployed iNanny once, when the groom's father was giving his speech. This girl let out a loud chuckle because she was watching a funny video. πŸ˜…

So glad we attended the wedding of my university friend. 😁

I knew the bride in year 2, when our lecturer randomly assigned us to be in the same project group.

I was in the same group with her and another guy. I was from the school of communication so naturally a lot of my school mates were very "angmo" and both my team mates were speaking English that I sometimes could not understand. Because, too cheem. πŸ˜‚

We finished the project work without any trouble (I don't even remember the topic πŸ˜‚) and that was it.

Until the end of our third year I got to know this group of people in my specialisation, and we got acquainted again.

People always say that the only real friends you'd make are the ones you have from secondary school.

Well that's not true, because this group of friends I met from university are the loveliest bunch of people.

And despite the years that have passed since we graduated and despite all the relocations (right now 3 out of the 6 of us are based outside of Singapore), we are still in touch.

We had our grad trip together.. to Bintan. It was the best we could afford with our budget.

Because of our budget we tried our best to spend less by eating a lot at the buffet breakfast so we save on subsequent meals.

The bride, who is the coolest among us, very skilfully took almost an entire loaf of bread and smuggled it out of the restaurant.

With no change of expression whatsoever. πŸ˜‚

And I'd never forget the time the same group of us went cable skiing in Batam and couldn't raise our hands the following day.

We all kept a blog back then and so we called our group "bloggies". 😊

Those were the days.
Fond memories.

And now I'm so happy she's found someone she loves to spend the rest of her life with.

And that I get to celebrate with her and our friends, with my little family. 😊

The little boss fell asleep as soon as the car pulled out of the car park.

Threw a mini tantrum when we got home, because she was sleepy and hungry but didn't want to change out of her dress.

She finished her milk but didn't fall asleep.

πŸ‘Ά: Mama pat pat.
πŸ‘§: OK, you close your eyes.
πŸ‘Ά: No close eyes!
πŸ‘§: OK, you sleep with your eyes open then. Are you a goldfish?

Our helper couldn't stop laughing at our exchange.

πŸ‘§: Do you want mama to sing you a song?
πŸ‘Ά: Yes. Baa baa sheep.

So I sang baa baa black sheep, and then hummed the tune until it became twinkle twinkle little star at one point. πŸ˜‚

She is now asleep wearing only a singlet and diaper pants. πŸ˜…

Round 2: Friend's house warming.

Looking grumpy and lost because she just woke up from her 2-hour nap.

Busy in the kitchen. πŸ˜„

This girl is bossy at home but meek outside.

Her friendly meimei came over and poked at the polka dot on her t-shirt. She immediately retreated to hug my legs and said, "怕怕." πŸ˜‚

But they have met each other several times and have even gone on a trip together. πŸ˜…

When it came to kitchen play time, she'd play for 30 seconds and walk out to look for me. It took her some time before she was OK to play on her own with the other kids.

I guess what her teachers observed and shared is true.
She takes time to warm up to people.

Nothing wrong with this, because her Mommy's like this too. πŸ˜
